All Globel  Metal Garages are advised to be Installed on a hard standing surface base area. A damp proof membrane (plastic sheet material) should be placed prior to installing your shed/base to limit condensation.

All garages should be anchored to a flat and level concrete surface with a damp proof membrane (not supplied).

The frame and base rails are made from solid heavy gauge galvanised steel and the parts and their fixings are simple and straightforward to assemble in the quickest possible time with a video guide available to demonstrate how simple this procedure is. Each door assembly, and particularly, the door glide & track layout have been designed with strength and simplicity. The door glide itself has been completely re-designed to provide a more stable and well balanced door opening.

An enormous effort has gone into the preparation of the instruction manual to ensure that it is as ‘user friendly’ and as informative as possible. Much criticism is made by end users of assembly instructions across many ranges and models. These instructions have been addressed from a ‘blank piece of paper’ and our suppliers have sought input and advice from many trusted sources to enable them to compile a manual which is presented in such a way to ensure that the assembly procedure is more of a pleasure than a chore!! 2. Timber Floor Option (Installation only option)

A Timber Floor Kit consists of a plywood timber base frame and pre-cut boards. The base frame is placed on top of the damp proof membrane (not supplied).

The boards then complete the base, also providing a timber floor for the shed. A Timber Floor Kit can be supplied at an additional charge and our installers will build it accordingly.

Timber Floors are NOT available for customers who don’t take out our installation service.

3. EcoBase Fastfit Base Kit (Installation only option)

A EcoBase Fastfit Base Kit consists of strong, recycled plastic grids that click together and supplied with a sheet of weed resistant membrane.

The shed is then anchored to the base kit.

Rainwater drains through the grid cavities keeping the floor grid and ventilated.

ECOBASE FastFit Base Kits are NOT available for customers who don’t take out our installation service.
