The SafeTrade 12’x7′ KDC+ Heavy Duty Metal Chemical Storage Container – Galvanised/Yellow offers a robust and COSHH compliant solution for all your chemical storage needs. With a fully galvanised finish, bunded steel base and ventilation panels built-in as standard, they offer an extremely safe way of storing chemicals and other hazardous goods on your premises.
Fully galvanised the KDC+ storage containers can easily accommodate large amounts of hazardous substances, such as flammable liquids, oils, fuels, pesticides, or other volatile chemical compounds, while leak-proof, bunded steel base with removable grid flooring will help you contain spills, allow easy clean-up, and protect your property from further contamination. Dual outward-opening doors are also in place to allow easy access to contents stored within at all times.
Every store we supply comes with integrated gutter system to get rid of rainwater and protect it from rust, allowing the unit to stay operational for much longer. To prevent the build-up of dangerous fumes, each store is also fitted with ventilation panels on both sides.
As standard, each KDC+ Chemical Storage Container comes complete with two high security locks that are both anti-snap and anti-pick, which can reduce insurance premiums when storing valuable contents. Both locks are also officially approved by UK Locksmiths Association.
The above safety features do not affect the extreme portability our stores offer – every unit is delivered flat-packed and fitted with both lifting eyes and integrated forklift pockets for easy positioning prior to (or after) the assembly.
The beauty of our KDC (Knock Down Construction) solution is that the storage container can be assembled and disassembled as often as required. Thanks to the integrated forklift pockets, easy-carry handles and lifting eyes, it’s also incredibly easy to lift and transport around your premises with a crane, a regular forklift, or even on foot (self-weight only).
As standard, all KDC+ stores are delivered flat-packed and can be positioned in your desired location free of charge using our on-board forklift truck (please select the appropriate offload option when ordering to take advantage). The assembled store can still be easily lifted and manouvered, thanks to built-in forklift pockets and lifting eyes, making it a truly portable storage solution.
The container will arrive flat packed and will be offloaded by the drivers forklift.

SHED BASE REQUIREMENTS
The container will need to sit on a flat and strong surface.
Professional Installations are available. Prices shown are for installation of the unit upon an existing base. We recommend that all Solmha storage conatiner units are situated on a firm, flat, level base. Ideally this should be 50mm concrete or on flagstones.
No electrical work will be carried out by our installers. If you require an electrical supply or mounting plate you will need to contact a professional electrician.
DO measure out the dimensions of your store in advance to find an optimal position for it.
DO choose level and firm ground that’s easily accessible for the delivery truck.
DO use a compacted hardcore, slabbed or concrete base to raise it off the ground. These units are not designed to be built on grass lawns, soil, tarmac or anyt other surfaces.
DO position your KDC Store away from large trees to avoid leaves blocking the gutters.
DO think about which way the doors are going to face and if there is adequate space when they’re opened.
